I’m Maddy Rehorn, a real estate advisor helping clients buy,
invest, and build wealth in the Outer Banks, while also helping them step into
the beach lifestyle that made me fall in love with this place in the first
place.


I’ve been licensed since 2022, and I started my real estate career in Florida
where I had the opportunity to work on a successful team and learn the business
fast, from marketing and strategy, to showing homes, negotiating contracts, and
guiding clients through major life decisions with confidence. Before real
estate, I spent two years working in insurance, and although I realized it
wasn’t my long-term path, it gave me a strong foundation in communication,
detail, and high-end service that I still use with every client today.


I was born and raised in California, and I’ve always been drawn to the water. I
grew up swimming competitively, and all those early mornings taught me
discipline, consistency, and how to stay focused on long-term goals, traits
that have carried into the way I show up for my clients and my business.


The Outer Banks is such a special place to me. I chose OBX for its laid-back
sophistication, natural beauty, and long-term investment potential, and now I’m
excited to help others discover what makes this coastline so unique. I work
with vacation home investors looking for rental income opportunities,
first-time buyers navigating homeownership for the first time, and families who
are ready to upgrade or downsize as life evolves. I’m committed to
understanding the details that matter here, like flood zones, short-term rental
regulations by town, and the true value differences between oceanfront and
soundside, and making sure my clients feel educated, confident, and supported
every step of the way.


When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me doing something by the water,
shelling at sunrise, fishing, or trying to surf. I also love cooking, baking
sourdough, making jewelry, and rearranging my house about 100 times until it
feels just right. Most importantly, I have a dog named Jetty who goes pretty
much everywhere with me.
